Salaamoalaykom everyone. As you can see, the site has a new design too it. With the new look, you will probably notice some other things as well, such the addition of new section removal of forums and group systems, etc.
New Additions
News section- News articles will be posted in this section. Not every little thing that happens will be posted here. For example, this section will not be updated every time there is a new manga, because it will be redundant work. It will be clear if something new is added by checking the manga section of the site.
MangaKa section – this is a section, where the manga authors and artists of the mangas published on Muslim-Manga.com will be listed. Members can view the manga ka’s pages and comment on them.
Media Box section – This section currently has nasheeds in it. Perhaps in the future, other things will also be added.
Learn Japanese section – Once initiated, this section will teach beginners about the Japanese language and perhaps teach some information about the Japanese culture .
Games section – This section will have games that are both Islamic or including Muslims and are in anime / manga style. If we can’t find many games to put here, we might disable this section
Changes
Manga section- This section used to be called the readmanga section. What you currently see on the homepage used to be here, but now it includes a a list of the mangas on the website, and 4 random mangas at the top of the page. Those mangas should change form time to time. We have a few fan-mangas (mangas using Japanese manga characters with new stories), but they wont’ apear in this section yet. That is one of the issues that needs to be fixed. You can still see those on the homepage.
Artwork section – similar to how the manga section is, this section is now also in a list format and a includes 3 random artworks at the top of the page.
Tutorials section – similar to how the manga section is, this section is now also in a list format and a includes 3 random artworks at the top of the page.
Removed Features
Forums – This feature wasn’t being used that much and instead of commenting directly on the manga page, it was previously being linked to a forum topic. That was found to be an extra step that was not necessarily. Members can currently post their comments directly on the manga page.
Groups – the group section is removed for the same reason as the forums section.
Activity - the activity section is removed for the same reason as the forums section.
Members – the member section wasn’t begin used that much either, but it was actually going to be kept, but due to some compatibility issue with the new designs, it had to be removed.
Public Profile – the profile section was a good section, mainly because you could add / edit / upload your avatars, but just like the members section, the profile section had to be removed for those same reasons.
